November and December flew by, and were jam packed with fun and learning! Here are some highlights:
Project Lead the Way Gliders
Students designed, tested, and evaluated 3 different gliders to learn about force and motion.
Coding lesson and Ozobots
Multiplication and division
Students used different tools to represent and model multiplication and division word problems.
Simple Machines and tiger rescue
To learn about simple/ complex machines, students designed and tested a contraption that would rescue a tiger. We had so much fun learning with the VEX robotics kits!
Reading and Writing
Students read biographies with a partner and practiced spelling with a partner.
Apex Fun Run
Elsa England took part in the Apex fun run! Kiddos had a blast with the daily inspirational leadership lessons from the leaders, and of course running to raise money for our school. If you pledged a lap or donated- THANK YOU! The students were overjoyed each time their name was announced for getting a pledge!
Students had a blast today at the 3rd Grade winter party. Thank you to our volunteers and to those of you who donated supplies! I hope your winter break is full of fun, relaxing family time.
